Abstract:
The Arab Web Accessibility Study Q2-2024, represents a pioneering effort focused on enhancing web accessibility within the Arab region, marking a significant milestone in efforts to foster digital inclusivity for individuals with disabilities. This comprehensive study, the first of its kind, meticulously evaluated the digital landscapes of all Arab countries, covering Algeria, Bahrain, Comoros, Djibouti, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, the United Arab Emirates, and Yemen. By analyzing 2,497 websites across various sectors, including government, education, healthcare, and commerce, the study provides an overview of the current state of web accessibility in the region.
