نظرا لتزايد انتشار اضطراب طيف التوحد في قطر ، أطلقت الدولة خطة قطر الوطنية للتوحد 2017-2021. وتسرد الخطة الوطنية 44 هدفا يتعين تنفيذها بحلول عام 2021. وتشمل هذه الأهداف زيادة الوعي العام، ودعم التشخيص المبكر، وتحسين جودة التدخلات السلوكية والتعليمية، وضمان الرعاية والدعم المستمرين في تعليمهم ومشاركتهم الاجتماعية.

A co-design process involving autistic children can provide a substantial benefit and optimal utilization of technologies to an off-the-shelf design-based one. Having a voice and making a contribution plays a major role in the co-design process.
